Generally it will depend on the size of your sculpture
and the temperature of the room or outside. As rule
the intricate details on the luge or sculpture will
begin to melt after 2-3 hours. Although the sculpture
or luge itself can last for up to 12 hours.
How
heavy will my sculpture or luge be?
An
average sculpture is appoximately 1 meter in size
and will weigh between 120 and 135kg. However we have
carved ice up to ten times this size and weight.
What
Happens to the Water as it melts?
All
of our sculpture's come with a drain tray. This is
a tray that that holds a bed of ice around the sculpture
and collects the water via a small hose into a container.
